MAULER

Cinemavixion Review

The recently released horror film "Mauler" plunges viewers into a grim scenario where desperation fuels a deadly game. The plot centers on five friends who, in dire need of money, agree to participate in a dark web contest set within a notorious murder house. What begins as a bid for a $25,000 prize quickly devolves into a harrowing fight for survival as they confront a terrifying, 7-foot-tall adversary wielding a sledgehammer. The film, starring Liz Angela, Adam Arabshahi, and Sebastian Betancur, presents a chilling narrative that questions the lengths to which people will go for financial gain, and the brutal consequences that follow. While specific critical reception and awards are yet to be widely noted, "Mauler" promises a tense and visceral viewing experience for fans of the horror genre, blending elements of survival thrillers with slasher tropes.
