MARRIAGE KILLER

Cinemavixion Review

Bernard Salzmann's 2019 thriller, "Marriage Killer," plunges into the unsettling consequences of seeking external thrills to rekindle a stagnant relationship. The film follows a married couple, portrayed by Kristen Renton and Jason London, who, in an attempt to inject excitement into their long-term union, venture into an exclusive club. What begins as a consensual exploration of desire quickly devolves into a dangerous entanglement, testing the boundaries of their commitment and threatening their very lives. While the narrative treads familiar ground in exploring the darker side of human desire, the performances of the lead actors ground the escalating tension. The film serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting how the pursuit of fleeting excitement can unravel the fabric of a stable life, leaving viewers to ponder the true cost of infidelity and the secrets that lie beneath the surface of seemingly perfect relationships.
