MARK OF THE WITCH

Cinemavixion Review

Tom Moore's "Mark of the Witch" plunges into the dark heart of vengeance, presenting a chilling narrative that spans centuries. The film centers on a witch, cursed for 300 years, who unleashes her fury upon a modern college town. Her target: the descendant of the man responsible for her persecution. The premise alone promises a potent blend of supernatural horror and historical retribution. The cast, including Robert Elston, Anitra Walsh, and Darryl Wells, navigates this gothic tale with palpable intensity. As the witch's ancient rage ignites the present, the film explores themes of inherited sin and the enduring power of curses. It's a compelling descent into darkness, where the past refuses to stay buried and the consequences of old transgressions ripple through time, offering a fresh, albeit terrifying, perspective on the supernatural.
