MARK HOWE | MURDERERS AND THEIR MOTHERS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the disturbing psychology of Mark Howe, a young man whose fascination with violence and knives escalated into a tragic obsession. The narrative traces his descent from a cherished son to a perpetrator consumed by an inexplicable hatred for his mother. The film poignantly illustrates a mother's desperate attempts to connect with and save her son from a dark path, only to become the victim of his violent transformation. The stark portrayal of his virtual world and the chilling progression towards the ultimate act of matricide offers a grim examination of familial breakdown and the terrifying potential for rage to consume an individual.
