MALLORY MUST NOT DIE!

Cinemavixion Review

Unveiled in 1971, "Mallory Must Not Die!" plunges audiences into the rugged world of the Western genre, helmed by director Mario Moroni. The narrative centers on Mallory, a former gunfighter, and his companion, a Northern colonel, who find their peaceful retirement disrupted by a relentless gang of thugs. The film, starring Robert Woods, Gabriella Giorgelli, and Teodoro Corrà, explores themes of redemption and the inescapable pull of one's past. Despite its straightforward premise, the performances lend weight to the struggle for survival and justice in a lawless land. While the external data suggests a lower IMDb rating, the film offers a compelling, albeit gritty, exploration of characters forced to confront violence once more. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of the Western, where even those seeking peace can be drawn back into conflict.
