MALLORY MUST NOT DIE!

Cinemavixion Review

Mario Moroni's "Mallory Must Not Die!" from 1971 is a gritty Western that pits retired Colonel Harper, played with stoic resolve, against the nefarious Bart Ambler for a coveted ranch. The film's strength lies in its straightforward narrative and the dynamic between Harper and his partner, Larry Mallory, brought to life by Robert Woods and Teodoro Corrà, respectively. Gabriella Giorgelli also features in this Italian production. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, as indicated by its IMDb rating, it offers a solid dose of classic Western conflict and a satisfying, if predictable, showdown. It's a film that fans of the genre will appreciate for its earnest execution of familiar tropes.
