MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS, STRANGER!

Cinemavixion Review

Demofilo Fidani's "Make the Sign of the Cross, Stranger!" plunges viewers into a dusty, sun-baked Italian Western landscape. Set in 1968, the film stars Charles Southwood as a determined bounty hunter on the trail of the notorious Bandit Carson. The narrative quickly escalates as the hunter encounters Carson's son, Lucas, igniting a perilous feud. Southwood navigates the treacherous terrain with a stoic resolve, ably supported by Jeff Cameron and Cristina Penz. While perhaps not reaching the operatic heights of some Spaghetti Western classics, Fidani crafts a compelling tale of pursuit and retribution, enriched by the genre's signature blend of gritty action and stark moral ambiguity. The film offers a solid entry for fans of the Western genre, showcasing a classic tale of a lone hunter against a formidable outlaw.
