Trevor McDonald ventures into the clandestine world of ex-mobsters' wives in this compelling episode. The documentary offers a rare glimpse into the lives of women who have left behind the allure of mafia wealth for the quiet desperation of hiding. McDonald's sensitive approach allows these individuals to share their stories of riches, profound pain, and the deep sense of betrayal that often accompanies life intertwined with organized crime. The narrative unfolds across undisclosed American locations, emphasizing the constant need for secrecy and the psychological toll of such an existence.
