MAFIA WARS: MEYER LANSKY'S SECRET DEAL WITH THE U.S. NAVY IN WWII

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the complex and often contradictory life of Meyer Lansky, a figure whose name is synonymous with organized crime. Moving beyond the simplistic caricature of a mobster, the narrative explores Lansky's strategic acumen, particularly his alleged secret dealings with the U.S. Navy during World War II—a facet that complicates his legacy. The video traces his trajectory from humble immigrant beginnings to becoming the financial architect of a vast criminal empire, intricately linked to the birth of Las Vegas. It questions the extent of his power and the effectiveness of his elusive methods, offering a compelling look at a man who operated in the shadows, shaping American history through illicit means while masterfully evading the grasp of the law.
