MAD SKILLS

Cinemavixion Review

This action-packed documentary plunges viewers into the high-octane world of professional drifting, focusing on champion Rhys Millen's intense 2005 Formula D season. With less than a week to prepare his GTO for the finals following a serious crash, Millen and his crew face a race against time, battling mechanical failures, team challenges, and fierce competition from fellow drivers, including friends Samuel Hubinette and Tanner Foust. The film also highlights the potential setback for the RX8 built for legendary rally driver Rod Millen, which may not be able to compete. 'Mad Skills' offers an unprecedented look at the art of 'driving sideways,' filled with explosive, close-quarters action, copious tire smoke, and out-of-control spins. It promises to change the way audiences perceive motorsports, delivering a raw and exhilarating experience.
