Cinemavixion Review

Donal MacIntyre's investigative deep-dive into Miami offers a stark contrast to its sun-drenched, tourist-friendly image. The renowned journalist peels back the layers of the city's glamorous facade to reveal a darker, more complex reality, suggesting that a significant portion of its development is inextricably linked to illicit activities, particularly cocaine trafficking. MacIntyre's signature no-nonsense approach promises to confront uncomfortable truths, challenging viewers to look beyond the superficial allure and understand the profound societal and economic undercurrents that have shaped this iconic American city. This documentary is a compelling exploration of urban duality and the hidden histories that often define even the most celebrated metropolises.
