MACABRO

Cinemavixion Review

Lamberto Bava's 1980 horror film 'Macabro' plunges viewers into a disturbing tale of familial betrayal and psychological terror. The narrative centers on Jane Baker, a woman attempting to conceal her extramarital affair from her children. The situation escalates dramatically when her daughter, upon discovering the affair, commits a horrific act of violence against her younger brother. The film masterfully builds suspense as Jane is called away, only to be met with the devastating news of the tragedy. 'Macabro' is a chilling exploration of dark secrets and their devastating consequences, showcasing Bava's early command of atmosphere and suspense.
