LUSTER

Cinemavixion Review

"Luster" plunges into the psychological abyss of a businessman whose life unravels with alarming speed. The narrative masterfully crafts a descent into paranoia, as the protagonist grapples with an internal antagonist—a darker, manipulative facet of his own personality. This internal conflict is not merely a backdrop but the engine driving the plot, leading to a whirlwind of murder, madness, and mayhem. Andrew Howard delivers a compelling performance, navigating the treacherous terrain of a man at war with himself. While the director's credit is absent, the film's atmosphere and pacing suggest a deliberate hand guiding this descent into chaos. It's a stark exploration of the fractured self, compelling viewers to question the boundaries between sanity and self-destruction.
