LOW BLOW RISING

Cinemavixion Review

"Low Blow Rising" plunges viewers into a gritty underworld where desperation breeds unlikely alliances. The narrative follows Wei Dong, a man seeking to protect his family after his release from prison, a quest that pits him against the formidable drug lord known as "Gentleman." The introduction of Huo Sheng, a gambler entangled by a fortunate, albeit illegal, discovery, adds a layer of chaotic unpredictability. The film masterfully navigates themes of struggle and redemption, culminating in a darkly humorous, high-stakes confrontation. It's a compelling portrayal of individuals pushed to their limits, forced to confront their circumstances in a fight for survival and perhaps, a chance at a better future.
