LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH

Cinemavixion Review

Shawn Woodard's "Love Is Not Enough" offers a poignant exploration of the intersecting challenges faced by recent college graduates navigating the treacherous landscapes of modern romance and corporate America. The film deftly captures the anxieties and aspirations of its young protagonists, portrayed with earnestness by a cast including Lavell Crawford, Kim Coles, and Claudia Jordan. Woodard crafts a narrative that is both relatable and thought-provoking, delving into the compromises and complexities inherent in building a future. While the film's 2019 release date positions it within contemporary cinema, its themes resonate universally, inviting audiences to reflect on the often-unseen hurdles in love and career. The performances anchor the story, providing emotional depth to the characters' journeys as they strive for fulfillment in a world that frequently demands they choose between passion and practicality.
