LOVE IS IN THE AIR - WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

Cinemavixion Review

This film plunges into the complexities of young love against the idyllic backdrop of the Hamptons summer. The narrative sets up a seemingly perfect romance between Matt Lynch and Abby Smythe, a pairing that immediately raises eyebrows given their age difference. The story takes a sharp, dramatic turn following a July 4th celebration, introducing themes of trauma and its devastating impact on relationships. The abrupt shift from romantic fantasy to harsh reality is jarring, challenging viewers to confront the darker aspects that can lurk beneath the surface of seemingly carefree environments. The film explores how a single, traumatic event can unravel trust and affection, leaving shattered illusions in its wake.
