LOVE AT HOME

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Love at Home', we are introduced to Dru Cassadine, a novelist whose cynicism stands in stark contrast to the romantic tales she crafts. Facing a career slump marked by a series of unsuccessful publications, Dru finds herself in a desperate pursuit of a creative resurgence. The narrative delves into the internal struggles of an artist grappling with authenticity and commercial viability. As Dru navigates the pressures of the publishing world, the film subtly explores the often-blurred lines between personal experience and fictionalized narrative, questioning whether true inspiration can be found when one's own life feels devoid of the very magic they aim to sell. The film invites contemplation on the nature of storytelling and the sacrifices made in the name of artistic success.
