LOST WORLDS: SECRETS OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary embarks on an ambitious expedition, following investigative journalist David Adams as he attempts to trace the entire 1,500-mile course of the River Oxus. Adams' passion for antiquity is palpable as he navigates the treacherous, war-torn landscapes of Afghanistan and Central Asia. The program aims to bridge the gap between contemporary archaeological findings and ancient Greek accounts, seeking to unravel the complete narrative of the Oxus—its creation, existence, and eventual demise. Adams' quest is not merely geographical but also historical, driven by a desire to illuminate the origins and impact of this fabled river.
