LOST IN FLORENCE

Cinemavixion Review

Lost in Florence offers a compelling narrative of second chances set against the vibrant backdrop of Italy's historic city. The film follows a former college football star whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers Calcio Storico, a brutal and ancient Florentine sport. This discovery not only challenges his perceptions of his future but also ignites a passionate romance with a local woman, adding a layer of emotional depth to the athletic drama. While the protagonist faces resistance due to his American heritage, his journey becomes a powerful exploration of identity, ambition, and the pursuit of passion. The film successfully blends elements of sports drama, romance, and cultural immersion, creating a moving experience that resonates with themes of resilience and finding one's place in the world.
