LOOKING FOR MIKE

Cinemavixion Review

"Looking For Mike" delves into the haunting enigma of Michael De Bourcier's untimely demise, a case that has languished as an unsolved cold case with the Toronto Police since 2002. Filmmaker Dylan Reibling embarks on a deeply personal investigation, seeking not only to unravel the circumstances of his friend's death but also to reconstruct his very identity. The documentary traces Reibling's determined search for De Bourcier's family and friends, piecing together the fragmented narrative of the strange events that precipitated his final moments. This is a compelling exploration of loss, memory, and the persistent human need for answers, even when faced with the profound silence of the unknown.
