LONG WAY EAST

Cinemavixion Review

Federico Marretta's ambitious undertaking, "Long Way East," is more than just a motorcycle journey; it's a cinematic exploration of human connection forged over 26,000 kilometers from Italy to Mongolia. Marretta, who helms this personal odyssey as both director and protagonist, invites viewers along the legendary Silk Road, a path where diverse peoples, cultures, and religions converge. The film promises a narrative of self-discovery and a heartfelt opening to unfamiliar worlds, underscored by Marretta's desire to connect with others, even through the unifying power of volleyball. While the external data suggests a 2023 release and lists Luca Rappa as a co-director, the core of the film, as presented, remains Marretta's deeply personal vision. This is an invitation to witness a grand adventure not just across geographical landscapes, but also across the vast terrain of the human spirit.
