LONDON'S MASS GRAVE: UNCOVERING THE MYSTERY OF THE ROMAN SKULLS

Cinemavixion Review

Beneath the bustling modern streets of London lies a mystery as old as the city itself: the enigmatic Roman skulls. This documentary delves into the unsettling discovery of hundreds of skulls, often found without their skeletal counterparts, near the ancient Walbrook river. The narrative artfully explores competing theories, from the brutal aftermath of Boudica's rebellion to the possibility of a catastrophic flood displacing ancient burials. It's a compelling examination of historical detective work, urging viewers to ponder the silent stories these ancient remains might tell. The film invites contemplation on the layers of history buried just beneath our feet, a poignant reminder of London's deep and often violent past.
