LOCK DOWN LOVE

Cinemavixion Review

This independent drama, 'Lock Down Love,' delves into the personal struggles of Lisa, a woman who believes her relationship's demise is directly linked to her weight. Set against the backdrop of a quarantine lockdown, the narrative follows her determined 40-day journey to shed pounds, fueled by the hope of rekindling a lost romance. While the film explores themes of self-image and the pressures of societal beauty standards, its limited reach and the discrepancy in cast information from external databases prevent a more comprehensive critical assessment. Viewers seeking a character-driven story about personal transformation during isolation may find it a relatable, albeit niche, viewing experience.
