Beau Yotty's "Loaded Monday" plunges viewers into the gritty underbelly of Arizona, delivering a potent dose of 1980s-inspired action. The film masterfully weaves a narrative of shootouts, betrayals, and relentless pursuit as two detectives hunt a corrupt politician and a cop killer. Yotty, also at the helm of the screenplay, demonstrates a clear affection for classic cop thrillers, infusing the story with a familiar yet compelling intensity. The performances, particularly from Yotty himself, anchor the escalating stakes, while the plot's twists and turns ensure a captivating viewing experience.
