LIZA LIZA SKIES ARE GREY!

Cinemavixion Review

Terry Sanders' "Liza Liza, Skies Are Grey!" transports viewers to the pivotal summer of 1966, chronicling a poignant coming-of-age narrative for two teenagers. As they embark on a motorcycle journey up the California coast, their pact to experience first love is interwoven with the era's palpable sense of change and burgeoning uncertainty. The film captures the bittersweet essence of growing up too fast in a world undergoing rapid transformation, echoing themes reminiscent of "Romeo & Juliet" and "The Odyssey," as noted in its synopsis. While the film garnered a mixed reception, with an IMDb rating of 6.6/10 and a Rotten Tomatoes score of 33%, it offers a tender exploration of youthful romance and the seismic shifts of the 1960s.
