LIVING WITH THE CARTELS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a stark and unflinching look at the pervasive reality of cocaine use in Britain, challenging the casual attitudes many hold towards this potent substance. By following four individuals from different walks of life—Amber, Louis, Chanel, and Troi—the film invites viewers to confront the often-unseen consequences of their drug habits. The narrative takes a compelling journey, tracing the drug's path from the vibrant, yet troubled, Amazonian rainforests of Colombia to the streets of the UK. It effectively demystifies the science behind cocaine's effects on the human body while simultaneously exposing the complex socio-economic forces that fuel its trade and consumption. "Living With The Cartels" serves as a crucial educational tool, urging a critical re-evaluation of recreational drug use and its far-reaching implications.
