LIQUOR RUN THE MOVIE

Cinemavixion Review

Jamal Hall's 'Liquor Run The Movie' plunges into the lives of four childhood friends—Fuquan, Jaleel, La La, and Raheem—as they navigate the often-treacherous waters of adulthood in Central, New Jersey. Facing financial uncertainty and the universal struggle of 'adulting,' the quartet hatches a plan: a house party intended to generate the capital needed for a promising cryptocurrency investment. This venture, however, is fraught with peril, not only in the unpredictable world of digital finance but also in the internal dynamics of their long-standing friendship. The film explores the adversities that test their bonds, promising a narrative that is as much about economic aspiration as it is about loyalty and resilience.
