LIGHT OF MINE

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Eichenberger's "Light of Mine" is a poignant exploration of life's fleeting moments, masterfully captured through the lens of a photographer facing impending blindness. The film follows Owen, portrayed with quiet desperation by Ji Tanzer, as he embarks on a final, meaningful road trip to Yellowstone with his wife Laura, played by Rebecca Sanborn. The narrative, penned by Jill Remensnyder, skillfully balances the profound sadness of Owen's condition with the breathtaking beauty of the American landscape, serving as a stark reminder of what is at stake. Eichenberger's direction emphasizes visual storytelling, making the impending darkness a palpable presence. The supporting cast, including Justin King, adds depth to this intimate drama. With a compelling 7.7 rating on IMDb and having garnered 2 wins, "Light of Mine" is a touching testament to love, memory, and the enduring power of human experience, even as sight fades.
