LIFEFORMS

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Bentman's "LIFEFORMS" presents a compelling, albeit brief, exploration of existential choice set against the vast canvas of space. The narrative centers on an astronaut grappling with the ultimate dilemma: the allure of eternal discovery among the stars versus the profound pull of love and duty back on a dying Earth. Eric Hanson delivers a nuanced performance, embodying the internal conflict of a man torn between two worlds. The film effectively uses its science-fiction premise to probe universal themes of sacrifice, connection, and the definition of a meaningful existence. While its runtime is concise, "LIFEFORMS" succeeds in posing significant questions that linger long after the credits roll, offering a thoughtful meditation on what truly matters in the face of the infinite.
