LEXICON

Cinemavixion Review

Kyra Arendt's 'Lexicon' offers a poignant and introspective look at the formative power of relationships. The film centers on a young woman, portrayed with delicate vulnerability by Emi Curia, as she navigates a pivotal job interview at the esteemed Merriam-Webster. This professional milestone becomes a backdrop against which she revisits the defining moments of the past year, inextricably linked to a significant relationship. J.D. Starnes and Fran Kravitz provide strong supporting performances, grounding the narrative in relatable human experience. 'Lexicon' masterfully explores themes of self-discovery and the lasting imprint of love, even as it examines the professional aspirations that propel the protagonist forward. It's a quiet, character-driven piece that resonates with emotional honesty.
