LET THEM SAY PART 1

Cinemavixion Review

"Let Them Say Part 1" delves into the intricate dynamics of female friendship strained by romantic rivalry in a provincial setting. The narrative centers on Galka and Sveta, two women whose arrival in a district center sparks immediate attention. Galka, portrayed with an alluring charm, becomes the object of affection for both the hardworking bulldozer driver Pyotr and the recently returned Mishka. This burgeoning popularity, however, breeds resentment in Sveta, Galka's friend, who harbors her own unrequited feelings for Mishka. The film masterfully explores themes of envy, ambition, and the complex interplay of desire within close relationships. The contrast between Galka's effortless captivation and Sveta's simmering discontent forms the emotional core, promising a compelling exploration of human nature and the choices made under pressure.
