LET HER OUT

Cinemavixion Review

Cody Calahan's 2016 horror film, "Let Her Out," delves into the psychological torment of Helen, a bike courier whose life takes a dark turn after a traumatic accident. As Helen recovers, she is plagued by unsettling blackouts and vivid hallucinations, leading to the chilling discovery that a tumor, the remnant of a vanishing twin absorbed in utero, is influencing her. The film masterfully portrays Helen's descent into a psychotic state, driven by the malevolent presence of her other self, making her a danger to herself and those around her. Starring Alanna LeVierge, Nina Kiri, and Adam Christie, "Let Her Out" is a compelling exploration of identity and the inner demons that can manifest, earning an impressive 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and drawing attention for its unsettling narrative.
