LEGENDARY CITIES: ATHENS | CRADLE OF DEMOCRACY

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, 'Legendary Cities: Athens | Cradle of Democracy,' offers a captivating glimpse into Athens, a city rightly hailed as the birthplace of democracy. Produced in 2014, the film delves into the historic relics and structures that stand as testaments to its golden age in the 5th century BC. The Acropolis and the Parthenon, in particular, are highlighted as sites that vividly conjure up images of ancient Greece in its full glory. While the documentary aims to showcase the beauty and historical significance of these landmarks, it serves as a concise introduction rather than an exhaustive exploration.
