LEGEND OF HAWES

Cinemavixion Review

Rene Perez's "Legend of Hawes" plunges viewers into a grim tale of retribution set against a harsh landscape. The film follows a lone survivor of a brutal marauder attack who enlists a hardened gunman to hunt down those responsible. While the premise echoes classic Western revenge narratives, "Legend of Hawes" leans into a darker, more visceral tone, exploring the grim consequences of violence. Mike Markoff and Emily Whitcomb anchor the film with performances that convey desperation and resolve, supported by a seasoned presence from Richard Tyson. Though its IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, the film offers a compelling, albeit bleak, exploration of vengeance and survival for fans of gritty, low-budget Westerns with a horror edge.
