Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the Republic of China era in Shanghai, 'Legend of Chen Zhen' presents a fascinating blend of historical drama and science fiction. His arrival is serendipitous, saving the mayor's adopted daughter and drawing him into the esteemed Jingwu School, where he becomes a disciple of the legendary Chen Zhen.
