LE CORBUSIER EFFECT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a fascinating exploration into the enduring legacy of Le Corbusier, a titan of 20th-century architecture and urban planning. The film moves beyond a mere cataloging of his iconic structures – the Villa Savoye, the Cité Radieuse, and the Ronchamp chapel – to investigate their lived reality. Through compelling testimonials from current residents, contemporary artists, urban planners, and creatives across various disciplines, 'Le Corbusier Effect' probes the profound and often complex influence of his modernist vision. It masterfully illustrates how his radical ideas on community, habitat, and design continue to resonate, sparking dialogue and inspiring new generations. This is a thoughtful examination of how an artist's spirit can permeate culture long after their passing.
