LE BELLE FAMIGLIE

Cinemavixion Review

Ugo Gregoretti's "Le belle famiglie" offers a poignant glimpse into Italian society during the 1960s through four distinct episodes. Each vignette contrasts the lives of the affluent with those of the less fortunate, painting a vivid socio-economic portrait of the era. The film masterfully explores themes of class, aspiration, and the everyday realities faced by different strata of Italian families, making it a significant piece of cinema from the period.
