LAURA'S NEW DESIRE

Cinemavixion Review

Set against the sweltering backdrop of summer break, 'Laura's New Desire' plunges into the complex emotional landscape of adolescence. As Billie and Laura navigate their final year of school, their shared intimacy belies a hidden tension. The narrative masterfully explores unspoken desires and the precarious balance of friendship when romantic feelings become entangled. The film delves into the intensity of first love and the painful realization of unrequited affection, particularly as Billie grapples with her secret infatuation with Laura's boyfriend, Danny. This coming-of-age story promises a poignant exploration of loyalty, longing, and the often-turbulent journey of self-discovery during formative years.
