LAST OF THE BADMEN

Cinemavixion Review

Nando Cicero's "Last of the Badmen" plunges viewers into a gritty Western landscape, anchored by a compelling performance from George Hilton as Kitosch. Framed for a crime he didn't commit, Kitosch's path intersects with the dangerous outlaw Joshua Tracy, portrayed with chilling intensity by Frank Wolff. The narrative takes a sharp turn as Kitosch finds himself entangled in Tracy's violent schemes, ultimately leading to a redemption arc where he must rescue those caught in the crossfire. The film masterfully blends elements of classic Westerns with a darker, more morally ambiguous tone, exploring themes of justice, survival, and the thin line between victim and perpetrator. Hilton's portrayal of Kitosch is a standout, showcasing a man pushed to his limits who finds unexpected strength. The cinematography captures the harsh beauty of the setting, immersing the audience in Kitosch's desperate struggle.
