LAST KISS IN PARIS

Cinemavixion Review

Damian Chapa directs and stars in "Last Kiss in Paris," a film that delves into the turbulent relationship between David Michaels, a New York poet portrayed by Chapa, and the enigmatic Regina Romanescu, played by Olga Kent. Set against the romantic backdrop of Paris, the narrative follows David's quest for inspiration and love as he becomes entangled with Regina, who resides in an institution. The film explores themes of confronting past darkness and overcoming external obstacles that threaten their connection. As their bond intensifies, David must grapple with Regina's troubled history and the 'oppressive forces' that aim to keep them separated. The central question remains whether their burgeoning love can triumph over the shadows of Regina's past and the forces that seek to divide them, or if their story will ultimately be a beautiful tragedy.
