LAST HOUSE ON CEMETERY LANE

Cinemavixion Review

Andrew Jones' 'The Last House on Cemetery Lane' plunges viewers into a chilling descent into the supernatural, set against the atmospheric backdrop of a remote West Wales manor. The film masterfully blends gothic horror with psychological unease as a screenwriter seeking solitude finds himself ensnared by the house's dark past. Vivien Bridson, Lee Bane, and Tessa Wood deliver performances that effectively convey the mounting dread and terror. While the narrative treads familiar haunted house territory, Jones' direction imbues the story with a palpable sense of claustrophobia and escalating menace. The film is a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of how unresolved histories can continue to haunt the present, offering a solid entry for fans of atmospheric horror.
