LANDLADY GETS KILLED BY TENANTS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges the viewer into the grim reality of a detective's first day on the murder team. Focusing on the baffling disappearance of an elderly woman in Paddington, the narrative skillfully builds suspense as Detective Colin Sutton and his team navigate a challenging investigation hampered by heavy snow and a dearth of initial clues. The introduction of a missing key and a bloodstained shed serves as a potent turning point, directing the inquiry towards a motive rooted in greed. The film excels in portraying the meticulous, often arduous process of detective work, highlighting how seemingly minor details can unravel a complex crime. The growing suspicion surrounding the victim's lodgers, entangled in personal and financial distress, adds a layer of human drama to the unfolding tragedy. The review commendably captures the emotional arc from the discovery of the first clue to the courtroom verdict, emphasizing the perseverance required to bring justice to light.
