LA MORTE HA FATTO L' UOVO

Cinemavixion Review

Giulio Questi's "La morte ha fatto l' uovo" (Death Laid an Egg) plunges into the unsettling world of a high-tech poultry factory, where genetic manipulation of chickens is as sterile and cold as the business itself. The film centers on a depraved manager, entangled in a suffocating love triangle with his domineering wife and his sexually liberated cousin. This toxic dynamic breeds a climate of deceit, double-crossing, and ultimately, murder. Starring Gina Lollobrigida, Jean-Louis Trintignant, and Ewa Aulin, the movie offers a stark, often disturbing, exploration of desire, control, and the grotesque realities lurking beneath the surface of modern industry and relationships. Its darkly surreal atmosphere and challenging themes invite viewers to confront the unnerving consequences of unchecked ambition and repressed passion.
