LA CHA CHA

Cinemavixion Review

Kevin Allen's "La Cha Cha" offers a vibrant and often humorous glimpse into a unique community nestled within a Welsh caravan park. The film centers on a group of spirited elderly residents who rally together against a predatory businessman threatening their way of life. Rhys Ifans and Alfie Allen anchor the ensemble with performances that capture both the warmth and the quirky resilience of the characters. While the plot might tread familiar ground in its David-versus-Goliath narrative, the film's charm lies in its affectionate portrayal of its protagonists and their unconventional methods of preservation. The vibrant setting and the underlying themes of community spirit and resistance against corporate greed make "La Cha Cha" a heartwarming, if at times understated, cinematic experience that champions the enduring power of togetherness.
