KRAA! THE SEA MONSTER

Cinemavixion Review

Embark on a thrilling dive into the B-movie abyss with "Kraa! The Sea Monster," a 1998 sci-fi adventure that channels the spirit of classic kaiju cinema. Directed by Aaron Osborne and Dave Parker, the film pits a colossal, rampaging sea monster against the valiant efforts of Earth's protectors, the Planet Patrol, and an alien agent named Mogyar. While perhaps not reaching the cinematic heights of its inspirations like "Godzilla" or "King Kong," "Kraa!" delivers a potent dose of nostalgic monster mayhem. The plot, involving an evil mastermind from a dark planet, offers a campy yet engaging narrative. Despite its modest IMDb rating, the film's commitment to its pulpy premise and its straightforward, action-packed approach make it a charming watch for enthusiasts of vintage monster features. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of giant creature features, promising a unique, if quirky, cinematic escapade.
