KNOW YOUR ENEMY

Cinemavixion Review

Randy Feldman's directorial debut, "Know Your Enemy," offers a taut and unsettling chamber drama that probes the depths of prejudice and fear. Set against the backdrop of a seemingly random home invasion, the film masterfully dissects the ingrained biases of a young, affluent couple when confronted by their unexpected assailant, portrayed with compelling intensity by Farshad Farahat. Nora-Jane Noone and Maury Sterling effectively convey the escalating terror and shifting perceptions of the homeowners. While the narrative unfolds within a confined space, its exploration of cultural misconceptions and the volatile nature of assumptions resonates far beyond the screen. The film's deliberate pacing and sharp dialogue create a palpable sense of tension, making it a thought-provoking examination of the 'other' and the assumptions we make in an increasingly divided world.
