KNIGHT LIFE

Cinemavixion Review

"Knight Life" offers a captivating glimpse into the demanding world of modern-day medieval reenactment. The documentary immerses viewers in the rigorous training and unwavering dedication of individuals who strive to embody the spirit and skill of knights. Through their efforts, audiences are treated to the spectacle of expert horsemanship, the thunder of lances in full armor, and the intricate dance of swordplay. The film highlights the physical toll—the bruises, broken bones, and emotional setbacks—that these performers endure in their quest for championship glory. Featuring actors such as George Appling, Emlyn Drake, and Silas Holtz, and with a plot that delves into the lives of those in a traveling joust company like the New Riders of the Golden Age, "Knight Life" is a compelling exploration of passion, perseverance, and the enduring allure of chivalry in contemporary times.
