KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS

Cinemavixion Review

Scott Chambers' "KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS" plunges viewers into a post-apocalyptic world where a corporation's hubris in resurrecting dinosaurs during wartime has unleashed prehistoric predators upon humanity. The narrative follows a lone employee who, after seeking refuge in a nuclear bunker with a group of survivors, embarks on a perilous quest for supplies. However, the desolate mountains become a hunting ground as the escaped dinosaurs infiltrate their sanctuary. While the film's premise echoes familiar survival horror tropes, the unique fusion of World War III aftermath with dinosauric threats offers a fresh, albeit B-movie, take on the genre. The cast, including Mark Haldor, Darcie Rose, and Stephen Staley, navigates this treacherous landscape with a palpable sense of desperation. Despite its modest production and a reported IMDb rating of 3.5/10, "KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS" delivers a creature feature experience that, for fans of the genre, provides a tense and action-packed escape into a world where humanity is no longer at the top of the food chain.
