KING ARTHUR'S BRITAIN

Cinemavixion Review

Francis Pryor's "King Arthur's Britain" offers a compelling revisionist perspective on the island's early history, challenging conventional narratives of decline. Through a comprehensive series, Pryor paints a vivid picture of the Dark Ages not as an era of regression, but as a dynamic period of cultural exchange and artistic flourishing. The exploration of foreign influences, stretching as far as the Middle East, is particularly insightful, demonstrating how Britain absorbed external elements without compromising its distinct identity. This series is a must-watch for anyone seeking a nuanced understanding of Britain's formative centuries, revealing a past far richer and more interconnected than often depicted.
