KILLING ELEVEN

Cinemavixion Review

Éric Tessier's 'KILLING ELEVEN' plunges into the dark psyche of Thomas Roy, a successful writer whose life unravels following a horrific tragedy. Set against the backdrop of Montreal, the film explores Roy's attempted suicide and subsequent treatment in a psychiatric hospital. As journalist Charles Monette delves into Roy's past for a book, a disturbing pattern emerges: Roy's presence at numerous Canadian tragedies. This revelation compels Dr. Paul Lacasse to investigate deeper, uncovering buried secrets that paint a chilling portrait of the writer's life. Michel Côté, Patrick Huard, and Catherine Florent anchor this suspenseful narrative, which blends psychological thriller elements with a profound examination of trauma and guilt.
